Welcome to a caring classroom community of 5th graders. We are going to have an awesome four day school week year. We are going to: work on treating each other with respect, learn a lot, spend a lot of time on task and get through bumps in the road together. One of the really cool things about 5th grade is the Adopt A Pilot Program. You will be getting more information about it in the near future. Another cool thing about 5th grade is...the teacher of course! :) Here is a bit about me:
I am now starting my second year at Garden Valley. I absulutely loved my 5th grade class last year and am hoping to have another great year with my new 5th graders. In addition my volleyball team was outstanding last year (district champs and 5th at state) and the team is off to a great start in a new season.
