Picture Day is April 8th.


Friday, April 3rd / 9am - noon
Location: Garden Valley School Shop 
In this three-hour class you will receive a brief overview into the world of kiln formed glass. Kiln forming is a process by which glass is assembled, put into a kiln, and heated in a controlled manner to achieve a wide range of effects. There will be discussions about kiln forming theory, color theory, design and pattern. In this exercise you will assemble a glass tile for fusing. You will have a finished piece which will bring the techniques you learned together. Demonstrations and class discussions will alternate with hands-on work time.
