Introducing Madeline Breyfogle, our new HS Math teacher.

Madeline Breyfogle graduated from University of Idaho in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She then worked as an algebra teacher and academic interventionist at Mastery Charter Pickett Campus for one year, then a pre-calc teacher and intervention specialist at Pathways in Education- Nampa for two years. She believes the “Eureka!” moment a student has when they finally understand something is one of the most beautiful and magical things in the world. Good mathematics teaching requires treating students as the multi-faceted individuals they are, spiraling in old material when teaching the new, and trying new approaches if a student does not understand something. Madeline attends game nights every Sunday, book club every Wednesday, and paints when she can find the time.
