Hello everyone!
We would like to invite you to be part of the Garden Valley Health Resource Fair on Saturday, October 10th, 10:00 am-1:00 pm at the Garden Valley District Library.
The Health Resource Fair will highlight local health and wellness services, businesses, and organizations available in Garden Valley, as well as outside businesses and organizations that serve our residents. This is a free, community-wide event, for all ages. A variety of vendors will focus on overall wellbeing, fitness, balance, nutrition, awareness, prevention, mental health, strength, addiction, functional medicine, emergency services, and so much more.
We anticipate strong participation and are especially excited to bring meaningful access to local services and healthy opportunities. We will be encouraging high school student participation specifically to help develop connections that can lead to future apprenticeships, job shadowing experiences, mentoring relationships, and informed postsecondary education decisions.
As a partner, you would:
Host a table or booth with information regarding your service(s) or products. Hands-on, interactive activities are encouraged, but not required. Promoting your service and/or products, sign-up interested community members for future communication.
Engage directly with local community members of all ages.
Showcase how your organization connects to healthy living, improves wellbeing, and practical ways to implement these into daily life.
Why participate? The ROI for your organization is clear:
Brand visibility in a rural market – Your organization will be positioned as a community investor and leader. In small communities, visibility and trust go a long way. Families remember the businesses that show up and provide services to improve their daily life. Community goodwill and relationship-building – This event strengthens relationships with community partners. Workforce pipeline development – You will engage directly with local residents and families in a region where building and retaining talent matters. Early exposure increases awareness of career pathways and helps students see a future in local industries.
