Garden Valley Drama students are going to compete at STATE!!!
State is December 3th and 4th at Centennial High in Boise.
We are so proud of the Wolverine Drama Students! Our 2 ensemble pieces are competing at State! Ensemble Humorous was District Champion and Ensemble Serious placed 3rd . All of the competitors (about 30 entries in each category) were 3A, 4A, and 5A!!!! These students beat the big Boise, Meridian and Caldwell schools! 16 schools competed, 14 of them 4A and 5A! Out of 7 total entries, 5 averaged 4 spots away from going to State....all solo pieces. They were so close. They also competed in the two most difficult categories of solos. Considering they had never performed solo anything before, that's impressive. They are a polite, and wonderfully talented group of students!
